Srujana Shivji earned her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Mathematics from the University of Texas at Austin, followed by a Juris Doctor from St. Mary’s University School of Law in San Antonio, Texas.
During law school, Ms. Shivji exhibited an unwavering commitment to justice, particularly in ensuring equitable legal representation. She interned at the Bexar County Appellate Public Defender’s Office, where she tirelessly defended the rights of individuals in aggravated assault cases. Additionally, she played a pivotal role in establishing the Restorative Justice Initiative at the Ney Prison Unit, a program focused on fostering meaningful rehabilitation for offenders and promoting healing for victims.
Ms. Shivji specializes in plaintiffs’ complex litigation, representing clients in cases involving cryptocurrency, insurance, antitrust violations, qui tam actions, commercial disputes, and securities fraud. She has also been a dedicated advocate in the Boy Scouts of America litigation, working with compassion and tenacity on behalf of survivors of abuse.
